fleece jumper

I know a fleece dress sounds kind of gross, but it looks so comfy. Deirdre has been telling me about the cute jumpers for kids on-line, so this is my knock-off. I did use a pattern, but I choose fleece because I'm lazy, and I don't like finishing. Then Tucker was stretching the crap out of it, so I put some binding tape around the edges. It doesn't match, but let's be honest, it's a fleece jumper. And he wears it with stripes, almost invariably.
Also, I find that when I watch other kids, life is easier if I drug them both.

I love this jumper - love the stripes, love the shape, love the glassy eyed stares from Tucker and friend. On a side note, why does this little girl make me think of "Escape to Witch Mountain?" http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/71R2VD038SL._AA280_.gif

I'm sharing Deirdre's love of the jumper. It looks so cozy. What's at the shoulders? Buttons? Straight up seams (which would be my choice)?

I also agree with the "Escape to Witch Mountain" reference. I didn't even use the link. Just reading that answered the question "why does she look familiar?" that I'd been asking myself.

Far, far, more importantly, who is that old looking boy in the striped jumper????? He is supposed to be a toddler, not a little boy.

I love the jumper. It looks really cute. I would like one for myself. I think it it would be nice to wear it around the house.

That's exactly what I was thinking Sarah! I want a big girl fleece jumper for around the house and, let's face it, probably outside the house wear as well. Great job Annie!

I like the jumper, too, and equally important, I like the enchanting it does on Tucker to make him look (and hopefully act) super mellow.

Well done!

Fleece jumpers are great! That one os perfect for Tucker! Matches his personality!

I've made some for Mariah... Very easy! Mine button at the shoulders but I cheat and sew the tabs togetehr then slap a botton on the top simply for the looks... I mean really, WHO needs to make the head hole larger on a loose dress? Not even ME with my big body and big, round, Irish head!

I am surprised any of you are actually old enough to remember "Witch Mountain"! I was thinking... I wonder if any of them have ever seen "Escape to Witch Mountain"

Sarah, my "Invitation" to join expired so I can't attach photos... If you wouldn't mind, I would love another! :)

Fleece jumpers are awesome! They are warm and toasty in winter, and with a turtleneck and some tights, just the thing when it seems too cold out to dress up.

I'll be making one with blanket stitched edges. . . someday. . .
