Margy's scarf

I finally gave Margy her scarf, and she seems to like it. I love the stitch pattern - it's called cross stitch in Deirdre's 101 Designers book, but I couldn't find it anywhere else. I'm including a close-up, so you too can admire the clever pattern.

I love it! It turned out great. How hard was the pattern? Is it now hard to knit normally?

The pattern was really simple, but it was certainly slower than regular knitting, even once I got the hang of it. I haven't tried normal knitting again yet. But if everything was this pattern for a while, I wouldn't mind. I think it's wicked awesome (as in, girl, you are).

It's very pretty. It looks so soft!

This is even better in real life. It's the perfect width.
