first shirt!

This is one of the very few things I've completely sewed. Small potatoes for you folks, but I'm pretty excited. Then I embroidered my initials onto the bottom so that my other craft wouldn't get jealous. I don't know that I'll wear it that often, seeing as the chest doesn't really fit. Seriously, who's making these patterns?! I'm not a busty lady! But that's a blog for another day.

I like it. It doesn't look like it's too tight in the photo. It just looks photo. It's very Luverne of you to embroider your initials on the bottom of it. I think you should start making your clothes. If you don't want to make your own clothes, you can make me a cute summer dress.

There's a great dress that I'm going to make from the same pattern. Maybe I can make two and we can match? It'd be like that outfit with both had with the hot pink shoes.

And yes, Laverne inspired me.

It's cute! I have found that if I'm making a dress, I need two sizes: 20 for the top and 10 for the bottom. But I agree with Sarah - it doesn't look too tight. And I'm glad you are an equal opportunity crafter.

I love the shirt, adore the embroidery, and am worshipping Kathleen's boob sizing approach to home-sewn clothes.

Do you know howucky and proud I am to be related to y'all?

Kathleen needs a 20 when sewing for herself??? There in lies the reason I sew not for myself!

Patterns suck as far as sizing... I don't know how many partially done dresses I have! You did a fantastic job Mary-Claire!

You have to do so much mixing and matching! When I sew for Mariah, she needs a 3 with 6 to 8 inches added in length!
